Parkside Lift Station Replacement Project

 Dear Parkside residents,

 We are writing to each of you today to provide you with an update on the upcoming Parkside Sewer Lift Station upgrade located at 640 Parkside Dr. (Under First Energy power lines). This lift station is only for sewer system of the homes and businesses south of the lift station. Not everyone receiving this letter is connected to the station, but maybe affected by the construction.

The existing station was constructed in 1992 and is beyond its use full life. The replacement of this lift station will greatly enhance the service to the connected homes as well as to the performance of the system as a whole.

Construction is slated to start late January 2026 and will be completed by July 31st, 2026.

During the project, large trucks and equipment will be in the area, on and off the roadway. The new station will be located directly behind the existing generator onsite. A new gravity sewer main will be installed on the south side of the power line and connect to the new station. All work will be taking place on Village property. No private property should be affected.

 We are working with engineers and contractors to make the process as smooth as possible.
